Just some crocuses on my front lawn after the rain. Camera body used was a Canon EOS 40D. Lens used was a Canon EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM. The camera was braced on my knee to lessen camera shake, saturation and sharpness increased slightly in post-processing.

This beautiful girl, with her extreme makeup and her sumptuous lips, appears to have made a new friend. I paint-rolled the background onto the paper with vivid, artist’s quality acrylic paint. I then inked the form and applied the last layer of acrylic paint.

This is Hamlins Hill Mutukaroa, a regional park right in the middle of the city. It was tough to get a decent shot with factories and office buildings in the background, but I think this kinda looks okay. (And yes the grass really was that colour)

I found this beautiful reflection while playing around with a macro-shot of water drops. It is a typical DVD-R disc’s recording side using a LED flashlight as the light source. This photo is taken with Micro-NIKKOR 55mm lens, f/8.

Originally taken in RAW. I increased the color temp and tint to give it a sepia tone. With the sunshine falling down between the clouds, it worked better than just the regular blue sky.

Malmoe, Sweden. Running towards the harbour with my Nikon D60 in one hand and my tripod in the other. The sky slowly fading to dark but I had some minutes before scenaio pitch black. The view is from The Western Harbour in Malmoe over the bridge that connects Sweden to Denmark and Copenhagen.

Shot taken at dusk in Bretagne, France. The tide was just coming in and the water was exceptionally flat. I used a ND1.8 filter in addition to get the silky effect. Canon 400D, f/16, ISO100, 5 second exposure; Hope you’ll like it. Regards from Germany!

I had originally posted a shot taken from further out. One of the comments suggested that next time I make the long hike down to the frozen lakeside. I did, already! Hope you like the different viewpoint. Oh and any further suggestions to walk out onto the frozen surface next time will be ignored (smile).
